As the Mercedes-AMG G 65 was phased out, AMG offered an exclusive Final Edition. Limited to just 65 units worldwide, this particularly expressive final edition reflects the success story of the world’s most powerful production off-roader. More than one-third of all G‑Classes sold worldwide come from AMG. The G 65 Final Edition was available at a starting price of 310,233 euros and was exclusively offered to the most loyal customers.
Under the hood, the G65 AMG Final Edition is powered by a formidable 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine, contrasting with the G63’s V8. This engine delivers a staggering 630 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1000 Nm. Despite its substantial weight of over 2,500 kilograms, the G65 AMG Final Edition can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds.
In the dynamic exterior design of the G 65 Final Edition, 21-inch wheels in bronze, silver brake calipers, and the side AMG sports stripe emphasize its sporty appearance. Additional accents are provided by features in matte bronze, such as the underbody guard, trim parts in the bumper, the wheels, and the exterior mirrors, as well as the spare wheel cover in obsidian black with a correspondingly designed inlay. Complementing these are the radiator grille with black mesh and a matte bronze painted surround.
Acquired new and initially shipped to Kuwait, this particular G 65 Final Edition saw minimal use and was primarily kept in storage as part of its first owner’s collection until it was sold in 2019. Since then, it has been brought into Switzerland under its current ownership and has seen limited use. The odometer shows a mere 271 km.
